If “chin” was a sense, this post would be part of that taxon! Doesn’t the chin of this latest flower in the orchid collection (phragmipedium longifolium) remind of Lucky Luke’s Daltons? In any case, it started its first flower which then opened up yesterday, after I’ve tended to this plant for more than 4 years! It is a slow one. No wonder that it now hangs around with an extremely chilled Big-Lebowski-style dude-o-wicz attitude. I think I’ll start feeding it White Russians đ
It’s time to finally introduce and direct my esteemed readers to my friend “Syncopath” Sva’s blog. This is best done via redirecting to one of his very interesting posts, lets say the one about FM2030.
“We are no longer content to simply refine the capitalist and socialist sytems. We recognize existing trends towards increasing automation, cashless economies, international economics, etc. But we will not settle for anything short of the complete elimination of money and labor.”
” […] the Buddha identifies that craving arises from sensations that result from contact at the six sense bases. Therefore, to overcome craving and its resultant suffering, one should develop restraint of and insight into the sense bases.”
MAHAPRAJNAPARAMITA
Finally a souvenir that makes sense: Tom-of-Finland-coffee from Helsinki. Note that it’s “medium roast”. We don’t want those boys to get heart problems đ Lets see if they managed to roast a leathery note into it …
